RDA issues notice to shopping mall, marketing firm

Issues notices to the managements to suspend the ongoing construction work and advertisements for the project

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Sunday issued notices to the management of a shopping mall directing them to immediately suspend the ongoing construction work and advertisements for the project.

The Metropolitan and Traffic Engineering (MPTE) department had already declared advertisements for the mall ‘illegal and un-authorised’ said RDA Spokesperson Muhammad Irfan. However, they continued to advertise inviting people to invest in the mall.

In addition, MPTE Director Jamshaid Aftab issued notices to owner of the said mall  and a marketing company appointed by the administration of the mall.
