Three bandits killed in Faisalabad shootout

Bandits killed in encounter with police, accomplice escapes scene.

FAISALABAD: Three bandits, who were fleeing after a looting incident, were killed in a police encounter in Faisalabad

Police officials said that four bandits were headed to Jhang Road when a police party intercepted them on Rasalay Wala Road. Three of the men were injured in an exchange of fire and later succumbed to their injuries, while the fourth one managed to flee the scene.

Those killed have been identified as Yasir, Arshad and Malik Bilal.

The men were believed to be involved in several robberies and other crimes in the area.
