Mango – the king of fruits has always been a favourite among a majority of people around the globe. Pakistanis, however, have a special place in their hearts and tummies for this lip smacking fruit. Everyone has their own style of eating it – satiating all taste buds in one go.

With the Pakistani mango obsession at its peak again every single summer - Rafhan is doing something super exciting which includes Pakistan’s biggest, week long, online dessert competition.

The competition is specifically meant to showcase people’s creativity around desserts and mangoes which makes it a great platform for budding chefs to highlight their talents. And what better way to flaunt your culinary skills than using your childhood dessert brand Rafhan and some scrumptious mangoes as the core ingredients in your dish? And, as a cherry on top of that cake, having your talent recognised along the way too.

Rafhan’s custard and jellies have been an integral part of our childhood and now the brand has taken that relationship one step ahead by providing a platform for the same individuals to showcase their passion and talent. This is a terrific chance to show everyone out there that you’re the royal highness of desserts. All those who see themselves pursuing a career as a pastry chef should try their hand at this jackpot.

To help give you a head start at the kind of things the brand is looking for, Rafhan recently came up with a creative take on the traditional custard by launching its mango tart. Living up to its image, not only is the recipe simple but not at all time consuming. The 25 minute recipe needs simple ingredients like digestive biscuit crumbs, icing sugar, melted margarine, egg yolks, sugar, milk, cream, mangoes and Rafhan mango custard powder. If you want the complete recipe, watch the video below or give a missed call to +923040723426.

This simple recipe can be modified in numerous ways. For example, some people like to add condensed milk to the custard mixture while others like to decorate the finished tart with chocolate icing. It comes as no surprise that without Rafhan, we would still be sitting at home, idly craving delicious desserts that we couldn't make at home. Now though, whether you have one guest or you have over 200 guests – you can pick up your favourite desserts and Rafhan will do the rest for you. Because, well, #RafhanAurBhiSpecial

So if you are someone looking for a platform to exhibit your dessert making skills, here is how you can enter the competition:

1. Make a mango dessert with Rafhan custard/jelly
2. Share it with us via Facebook inbox
3. Your entries will be uploaded in our Facebook and Instagram album, and the entries with the highest number of likes will receive a beautiful Rafhan gift hamper - your creativity is at test!
