Kamal, along with his party's senior vice-chairperson Dr Sagheer Ahmed and Sofia Saeed, met British High Commission Deputy Head of Mission Steve Crossman at the latter's office in Karachi on Tuesday and submitted an application with him against the MQM founder.
According to a statement issued by the PSP, Kamal told the deputy head of mission that the United Kingdom (UK) is an important friend of Pakistan. The PSP chairperson further said he hoped that the UK will never let its land used to instigate terrorism in Pakistan. He requested the high commission to ask the relevant authorities in the UK to take action against Altaf.
Mustafa Kamal records statement with NAB
Kamal accused Altaf of defaming Pakistan and plotting murders in London. "There will be no more bloodshed because [the PSP will] bury the bloody politics of Altaf," he said, while talking to the media after the meeting.
The PSP workers, Abdul Majeed alias Nadeem Molana and Rashid Khan alias Laal, were killed on of MQM founder's directions from London, Kamal alleged. The workers were killed on July 17 in a firing incident in Orangi Town.
The PSP chairperson also criticised MQM-Pakistan head Farooq Sattar and his group for saving and retaining the brand of MQM after the August 22 incident from last year, when the authorities launched a crackdown against the party following a controversial speech of Altaf.
The MQM-Pakistan and MQM-London are flip sides of the same coin, Kamal remarked, adding that Altaf was still running affairs of the party despite its split into two factions. "MQM-Pakistan is the political wing while MQM-London is the militant wing of Altaf," Kamal remarked.
Kamal says PSP's politics not based on language
Speaking about the protest by the PSP outside the house of the MQM founder in London, Kamal said Altaf changed his residence following the demonstrations and moved secretly to another place so that he could not be followed.
