Water shortages: Canals closed for maintenance

Half of Sukkur goes without drinking water for four days.

SUKKUR: Half of Sukkur went without drinking water for four days as the Kirthar and Rice canals were closed for repairs and maintenance. The city has not arranged for an alternate supply of water. The city went without water for four days before the North Sindh Urban Service Corporation supplied it with water for two hours.
