Attendance system of field staff computerised

Company organised a training session for sanitary supervisors in this regard

BAHAWALPUR: Waste Management Company has introduced IRIS scanning system for its field staff to ensure transparency and improvement in attendance system.

The move was initiated in coordination with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Bahawalpur. In this regard, the company organised a training session for sanitary supervisors. PITB officers Bilal Javed and Usman Hassan provided training on the use of modern IRIS System.

While speaking to The Express Tribune, focal person Irfan Mehmood said, “The main purpose of introducing the system is to bring transparency and to equip solid waste system with modern standards.”

He added, “For the first time in the history of Bahawalpur, the field staff attendance will be recorded through scanning of their retinas. This system is fast and reliable.”

Irfan commented, “The technology would help the department to keep track of the attendance of its workers and the record could be accessed any time without difficulty.”
