The cast and crew of the movie got an over-whelming response because of the nearly five-minute-long trailer starring Shahroz Sabzwari, debutante Sarish Khan and big names such as Nadeem Baig, Atiqa Odho and Bahroz Sabzwari. But other than that, there was little to appreciate.
Trailer alert: Syed Noor's comeback might be the end of Shahroz Sabzwari's career
Sung by Ammar Baig, and composed by M Arshad, Chain Aye Na's title track is out and we beg to ask the same question we did before: Is this film worth releasing in the cinemas?
So, the track titled, Chain Aye Na starts off as Shahroz reminisces about the love of his life, Sarish Khan.
And here she is...
Or so we thought.. She seems to be having a good time with someone else. (Need we remind the famous dialogue Adil Murad delivered in the trailer of the movie?)
Oh, hello there, papa Sabzwari.
Shahroz's intense eye game is so very strong! Maybe stronger than necessary...
Adil Murad's expressions are totally cringe-worthy, to say the least...
Do you still not agree with me?
That's just a lot of overpowering use of the guitar...
Here's a disgruntled looking papa Sabzwari. If my son would sing like that, I might have the same reaction...
What is even going on here!
Oh, she's finally here!
Or is she?
From the looks of the song, it seems like Shahroz is essaying the role of either a stalker or a guy trapped in a one-sided relationship.
Either way, it's a bit creepy, to be honest. One surely has to think (and think hard) about what Noor was wondering when he made the film.
So, just in case you need to burn some brain cells, here is the video of the song. God, I need a nap...
Chain Aye Na is slated to release on August 11.
