ISLAMABAD: Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has planned to initiate three new programmes for ICT School under Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme including compulsory training for teachers, a nutrition programme for children and structuring of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).

Advisor to PM Education Reforms Programme Ali Raza on Friday said that these programmes were currently in the pipeline and are expected to commence soon in the public sector schools in Islamabad.

Giving details of the programme, he said that under the teachers training programme, as many as 10,000 teachers would be provided with compulsory training.

CADD, he said, would finalise criteria for the training while teachers would also be offered optional training courses which would be compulsory for their career development to secure promotions.
