Resolution against printing of Kalima

If Kalima inscribed flags fall on ground, it would tantamount to desecration of the Kalima, said PTI legislator

LAHORE: The opposition submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against printing of national flags and buntings inscribed with first Kalima to avoid desecration.

The demand was made through a resolution submitted in the provincial assembly by Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf’s (PTI) legislator Malik Taimoor Masood. The lawmaker said the preparations for the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan were in full swing all over the country.

He said many events were being organised in connection with this special day and buntings and flags were used in decoration of the venues. These buntings and flags were inscribed with Kalima. He said if these flags and buntings fall on ground, it would tantamount to desecration of the Kalima.
