Kazmi to attend NA session

Mirza has directed the Interior Minister and jail authorities to produce Kazmi in the next NA session.

ISLAMABAD: Fehmida Mirza,  Speaker of the National Assembly, on Saturday issued production orders of former Religious Affairs Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi for an assembly session on April 11.

Mirza has directed Interior Minister Rehman Malik and the jail authorities to produce him in the session which will be held on Monday.

Kazmi is presently on judicial remand on allegations regarding his involvement in the hajj scam.

In last session, President Asif Ali  Zardari addressed to the joint session of parlaiment and issued a similiar order that was passed by Mirza which led Kazmi being brought to the assembly session.
