LAHORE: All Pakistan CNG Association announced on Friday that gas stations across Punjab will be closed indefinitely from April 13 to protest against inconsistency of gas supply.

Association President Ghayas Piracha said that CNG stations would remain closed until the government resolves the issue of weekly load-shedding of gas.

Meanwhile, All Pakistan Petroleum Retailers Association (APPRA) announced its support for the strike and said that petrol pumps in Lahore will remain shut on April 13.

Currently, CNG stations across the country are closed for two days a week due to gas load-shedding.
