5,200kg of unhealthy meat seized

MULTAN: In a crackdown against illegal slaughter houses, the district administration seized 5,200 kilogrammes of unhealthy meat in Multan on Tuesday.

The operation against illegal slaughter of animals was carried out inside the walled city (Hano ka Chaja) and Awan Pura. District officials said four people were arrested, while seven shops were sealed over illegal slaughtering of animals. Besides, 5,200kg beef was confiscated by the raiding team.
