ISLAMABAD: Police are hunting for suspects after two young men were injured by gunmen in two separate violent incidents on Sunday.

In the first incident, four gunmen attacked a property dealer as he sat in his office in the Capital Enclave near Jinnah Garden. Police said Muhammad Umar was allegedly attacked by four men who are yet to be identified. Lohi Bher police have registered an attempted murder case against four unidentified people, but have made no arrests yet.

Police said Umar was shot twice in his left leg while another bullet scratched his neck. He was admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences but is out of danger, police said.

Meanwhile, another young man was rushed to Pims with bullet wounds to his legs and stomach. Police said Fayaz Manzoor was allegedly attacked by armed men from his neighbourhood. Shahzad Town police have registered a case, but are yet to make any arrests.
