Armed Robbery: Two dead, three injured

Two men killed and three people, including two women, of the same family injured by dacoits.

FAISALABAD: Two men were killed and three people, including two women, of the same family injured by dacoits in Chakera village on Wednesday night.

One of the dacoits was caught by the neighbours who had gathered at the scene after hearing gunshots.

He was handed over to the police. Police said the dacoits opened fire on the family’s resistance.

They said Noor  Muhammad and his brother, Akhtar Ali, died on the spot.

The injured Khan Muhammad, his wife Haleema Bibi and daughter-in-law Shazia were taken to Allied Hospital, they added.
