Wheat: Procurement to kick off from April 15
Wheat procurement process in Khanewal to begin from April 15.
KHANEWAL:
Wheat procurement process in Khanewal would begin from April 15, DCO Rashid Mehmood said on Thursday.
He said Food Department would procure wheat from farmers at Rs 950 per maund in Khanewal,Jehanian,and Kabirwala.
In Mian Channu, he said, Passco would be in charge of the procurement drive. He said focal persons had been deputed in this regard.
He said a complaint cell had been set up at the district crisis management cell to address the complaints about the procurement drive.
