LCWU hopes to boost research in management sciences

Academicians from various universities will share their knowledge in a conference

LAHORE: With the objective of promoting research among scholars, researchers, educators and students, the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) will organise an international conference on emerging issues in management sciences next week.

The conference will also help further advancement and innovation in learning, teaching and research. The conference will provide an opportunity to people interested in research to present their work on developments in management sciences.

LCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma Qureshi said the conference would provide an opportunity to the academics and professionals from various universities to share their knowledge, research findings and educational/management practices with their colleagues and academic community.

“In the dynamic and competitive business world of today, management practices are more than just window-dressing. By adopting pertinent measures, companies can gain a competitive edge, increase their market share and boost shareholder value,” she said.

“This conference can address the emerging issues in management by focusing on all relevant areas that are significant for organisations and can be used to translate an aspiration for long term business sustainability into practical and effective solutions,” she added.
