The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start accepting new admissions for its Autumn session from August 1.
According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Admissions, a number of new programmes in the Bachelor of Studies (BS), Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) would be introduced from the new semester.
The university is also planning to launch short courses for professionals.

Meanwhile, the university has also completed the process of its admissions for the Spring 2017 semester. Data of incomplete admission forms have also been placed on the website along with objections.
Most of the students who were successfully enrolled in programmes have been mailed the relevant books and other related material.
The rest have been advised to wait till the middle of July for their books.
