Ayesha Omar or Mawra Hocane: Who stole the show with their Eid outfits?

Celebrities are in the public eye all year round and Eid is no different for them. Here’s a lowdown of who wore what on the occasion. Which look is your favourite?

The Dobara Phir Se actor looked every bit a princess in a beige outfit from Zainab Chottani’s Eid collection. The stylish number featured flared cape-like sleeves with a slit in the middle. White floral details stood out from afar. She coupled the tunic with frilled pants that made it look formal. However, we do feel she could have done a better job with the accessories. The earrings didn’t really catch our attention, and the high ponytail certainly failed to complement her face cut. But, we do give her credit for completing her look with contrasting ice blue heels that added a pop of colour to the ensemble.

The style icon looked smoking hot in an all-silver outfit from Élan on the sets of an Eid show. Oozing elegance, the organza wrap featured sparkly silver embellishments on the neck and sleeves. She paired the asymmetric cut with matching cigarette pants. The starlet left us with nothing to criticise her look on. From the hair, to the outfit to those glamorous peep toes, she ticked all the correct boxes on our list. The Karachi Se Lahore actor finished off her look with Sherezad jewellery.



Mawra Hocane

While it is common for celebrities to go all out with their sartorial choices on Eid, Mawra’s outfit proved otherwise. The actor opted for a traditional appeal in a lavender outfit that included minimum detailing. Light pink embroidery and tassels on the hem went perfectly with the angrakha cut. What we didn’t approve of though were the pink tassel earrings. While they matched perfectly with the outfit, she looked too proper for our liking.
