Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA and son-in-law of the prime minister Captain (Retd) Mohammad Safdar arrived on Saturday at the Federal Judicial Academy for interrogation vis-à-vis Panamagate case.

The joint investigation team (JIT) formed by the Supreme Court to probe the Panamagate case called Safdar following the appearance of PM Nawaz and his two sons, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, before the investigation committee.

Panamagate probe: Rehman Malik submits ‘conclusive’ evidence to JIT

A day earlier, Senator Rehman Malik appeared before the JIT and presented evidence pertaining to the case. “Following submission of conclusive evidence I have brought along with me, I think the JIT will not need any more evidence to conclude the ongoing investigations,” Senator Malik claimed after his appearance before the JIT.

On April 20, the Supreme Court had constituted the JIT and empowered it to summon the prime minister, his sons and any other person linked to the ongoing investigation into the Panamagate case.
