Wapda lineman electrocuted

MANSEHRA: A lineman of Wapda was electrocuted while repairing transformer at Mansehra Bazaar here on Friday. According to reports Ahsan Shah had fixed the faulty transformer and was joining the link with main line when he received the fatal electric shock. The victim died on the spot. His funeral prayer was offered at Circuit House Mansehra and later the body was shifted to his hometown, Mardan, for burial. Shah was working with Wapda in Mansehra for the last 20 years and was a popular person among his colleagues and the local consumers. Tehsil council Mansehra also conducted a condolence reference in honour of the late Wapda lineman Ahsan Shah and prayed for the departed soul.
