ISLAMABAD: Police have booked a man on Thursday for allegedly quarrelling with his ex-wife at her workplace on Tuesday. The woman had filed a complaint with the Secretariat police, stating that her ex-husband came to her office where he allegedly tried to beat her and also damaged the office property. The reason behind the dispute was that the woman claimed that the couple had divorced but the man denied this and was insisting on reunion. The woman also claimed that her ex-husband had forcibly taken her children with him. The woman said that she, her children, siblings and parents felt threatened by the suspect who she said was a drug addict and also carried a pistol. Secretariat police have registered a case against the suspect and started investigation.
