ISLAMABAD: A hospital in the Police Line Headquarters in Islamabad has been upgraded along with an increase in the number of beds and provision of modern machinery. Basic facilities such as X-ray, Electro Cardiogram (ECG), diabetes clinic and others have been set up, while two air-conditioned general medical wards have been set up with a capacity of ten beds each. Moreover, a ward for officers with four beds is set to become operational soon while a sample collection centre for medical tests has also been set up, police sources said on Wednesday.
