LAHORE:
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is endeavouring to build an effective liaison with private and public stakeholders through support and assistance to help promote national trade in international business markets and contribute to national development.

TDAP Secretary Inamullah Khan Dharejo expressed these views during a meeting with delegations of the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) and Pakistan Meat Exporters Association (PMEA) at the TDAP on Monday.

“Being the premier trade promotion organisation of the country, the TDAP is working to strengthen the supply base including exporters’ capabilities and capacities through seminars, workshops and regular research,” he said.

This way, “they may be able to float their business consignments with capacity and awareness related to the present day global trade regime.”

He insisted that the TDAP was focusing on helping exporters improve and enhance their business weightage through proper guidance and amicable solution for the execution of their business plan so that mutual coordination could subsequently add to the country’s exports.

He voiced hope that collaboration between the TDAP and exporter associations would help improve the country’s trade growth.

Both the PCMEA and PMEA delegations made presentations and sought further facilitation. The TDAP secretary assured them of support and help so that they could perform better in the export field.
