Two awarded 14 years for supplying weapons

DERA GHAZI KHAN: An ant-terrorism court awarded 14 years jail imprisonment each to two men for providing weapons to Chotu gang in Dera Ghazi Khan the other day. The judgment was announced by ATC Judge Shakir Hussain.

The prosecution told the court that accused Ayub and Jamshed were involved in providing arms and ammunition to Chotu gang. The police raided a hideout in Shah Wali area and nabbed the accused. A case 16/33 was registered against them at the police station. After hearing the arguments and witnesses, the court awarded 14 years jail term to both convicts.

Police arrest 11 Dealers and kidnappers

Earlier, a court awarded death sentence to a man in a murder case. The judgment was announced by District and Session Judge Chaudhry Muneer Ahmad.

The prosecution told the court that accused Ghulam Akbar had gunned down Ghulam Mustafa over a dispute of laying pipeline in Sakhi Sarwar police limits. The police arrested the accused and produced them before the court where he was found guilty of the murder.
