ISLAMABAD: A special court in Islamabad on Friday rejected the post-arrest bail plea of a man who is alleged to have uploaded pictures of a girl onto social media without her consent. Special Court Judge Tahir Mehmood heard the bail plea filed by Zain, the suspect. The FIA had booked Zain under the Pakistan Electronic Crime Act (PECA 2016) on the complaint of U* for allegedly uploading her pictures. After hearing the arguments, Judge Mehmood turned down the bail plea.
