LAHORE: The Punjab government plans to introduce ropeways transport system also known as cable car at four different places in the province. This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday. While presiding over a meeting held to review arrangements regarding installation of ropeways transport system, the chief minister directed officials to prepare a feasibility report. A presentation was also delivered for him about the effectiveness of the system. Shehbaz said that it would be a beautiful project.

He ordered the company representatives to prepare a feasibility report for installation of ropeways transport system at different places. The places chosen for feasibility in Lahore are from Imamia Colony to Railway Station, Jahangir Tomb to Greater Iqbal Park and Jalo Morr to Thokar Niaz Baig and the fourth one from Murree to Islamabad.
