Islamabad police nail three alleged bike-lifters

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested six suspects including three alleged bike-lifters and recovered three stolen motorbikes, hashish and arms as well as ammunition from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday said.

The arrested bike thieves have been identified as Tufail, Zulfqair Ahmed and Abrar Hussain. Meanwhile Sub-Inspector Ejaz Ahmed from Bhara Kau police arrested Wali Khan and recovered 210 gram hashish from him.

ASI Tipu Sultan from Tarnol police station arrested an accused Farooq and recovered pistol 30 bore along with ammunition from him. ASI Haider Ali from CIA police arrested Saqib Haand and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

Separately, CTO Rawalpindi Yousaf Ali Shahid visited Ramazan Sasta Bazars to check arrangements made regarding traffic, parking of vehicles and motorbikes.
