RAWALPINDI: Police have devised security plan for Ramazan bazaars, mosques, Imam Bargahs and major markets.

Authorities have engaged the mosque committees, market associations, in addition to national volunteers, women police, and horse-mounted policemen to ensure security.

Rawalpindi district police will deploy over 2,000 personnel on security duty for 2,088 mosques, 87 Imam Barghas and other important places in the district, spokesman to Rawalpindi Police said.

Police will also guard 16 Ramzan bazaars and 28 Iftari stalls in the city, he said.

CPO Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi has ordered fool proof security to avert any untoward incident during the holy month.
