According to the military’s media wing, the terrorists had been tried by military courts and had confessed to their crimes before a magistrate and trial court. The militants were convicted for their involvement in acts of terrorism, including killing innocent civilians, attacks on law enforcement agencies and armed forces, said the communiqué.
Four TTP militants hanged in K-P: ISPR
The statement identified the suspects as Atta Ullah s/o Muhammad Sultan and Taj Muhammad s/o Alaf Khan, both active members of the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The development came less than a week after four terrorists belonging to the TTP were executed in a Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa prison. According to the statement issued by ISPR, the four militants hanged were identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, Rizwan Ullah, Sardar Ali and Sher Muhammad Khan.
In December 2015, four militants involved in the APS attack were executed in Kohat. Military courts were established through constitutional amendment in the aftermath of the APS attack in December 2014.
