LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Nazir has directed all the medical superintendents of district and tehsil hospitals to ensure compliance with Minimum Service Delivery Standards set by the Punjab Healthcare Commission.

Chairing the monthly review meeting of the medical superintendents of selected district and tehsil headquarters hospitals on Sunday, the minister said provision of healthcare services was a goal he and his team had set for themselves.

“The medical superintendents must personally supervise the implementation of the revamping indicators at their respective facilities,” the minister said.

“All staff must ensure that ‘Hepatitis-Free Week’ is celebrated across the province in a befitting manner and awareness about the prevention of hepatitis is created and patients are given necessary treatment wherever needed,” Imran said.
