QUETTA: Newly appointed president of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan Mir Sadiq Umrani said he will soon reorganise the party by carrying out elections at Union Council level in the province. He said this while addressing the PPP workers at the Quetta Press Club, in the presence of the newly appointed general secretary Ayathullah Durrani, here on Friday. “I will make my utmost efforts to come up to the expectations of the central leadership as it expressed complete confidence in me,” he told the workers, adding that his struggle for Balochistan’s rights will continue. “It is the first time that the leadership has been given to a worker; the issues of workers now will be heard on a priority basis,” he claimed. He also admired the performance of former provincial president of PPP Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani by stating that Raisani had fulfilled his responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.
