Desecration: CJP asked to take notice
Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Friday took out a rally to condemn the desecration of the Holy Quran committed by an American pastor.
The protesting lawyers demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take a suo moto notice in this regard. Scores of lawyers assembled at the Aiwan-i-Adl in the general house sessions. They passed resolutions against the offender for committing such a heinous act. The rally commenced from the Aiwan-i-Adl and ended at the GPO Chowk.
