RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Wednesday issued notices to a firm for carrying out marketing for an unapproved housing society. In a press release issued by RDA spokesperson Hafiz Muhammad Irfan, Director Metropolitan and Traffic Engineering Hafiz Muhammad Irfan had taken legal action against the advertisement for Blue World City, an unapproved housing scheme and had issued notices to the sponsors of the scheme. The director took notice of an advertisement published in newspapers on May 14 about the housing inviting applications from general public for registration of members and sale of plots in the illegal housing scheme. RDA has warned all and sundry that without getting the requisite NOC from the authority for launching of the housing schemes, apartment projects, and commercial buildings within its controlled area. The authority had also asked the public to be aware of advertisements marketing for unapproved housing societies.
