KARACHI: The cost of milk had been raised by Rs8 as dairy farmers take advantage of the absence of the Karachi Administrator Lala Fazalur Rehman and Karachi DCO Mohammad Hussain Syed.
The administrator is on holiday due to an illness and the DCO is on a visit to Turkey.
Karachi Dairy Farmers Association Chairman Haji Akhtar claimed that it is impossible for them to sell milk at the prices set by the city government.
