The notice was issued for an alleged violation of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code's Article 4.3 and it summons Nawaz to appear before the PCB Security and Vigilance Department.
"Pakistan Cricket Board’s Security and Vigilance Department has today issued a Notice of Demand to Cricketer, Mohammad Nawaz in continuation of its fight against the menace of corruption in cricket," the board said in a statement. "This Notice of Demand has been issued under Article 4.3 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code and requires Nawaz to appear before the PCB Security and Vigilance Department for an interview in relation to possible breaches of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code."
Per sources close to the matter, Nawaz was approached by bookmakers during Pakistan's tour of Australia, something he failed to report to the PCB on time.

While Nawaz did reveal it later on, it was well after the allowed time period to report such matters. It is expected that the PCB will ask Nawaz to appear before the Security and Vigilance Department on May 11.
