Annual intermediate examinations begin

Exams will see a total of 158,590 candidates take the papers

LAHORE: The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Annual Intermediate Part II Examination started on Saturday.

Being held under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, the exams will see a total of 158,590 candidates take the papers, while Part I will start from May 23.

On the first day, the psychology exam was held in the morning followed by outlines of home economics, haematology, blood banking and applied sciences in the evening. The English exam will be held on Monday.

According to BISE Lahore, this year a total of 310,051 candidates will be taking part in the Part I and II annual examinations. For Part I, a total of 152,151 candidates will take the exam and there are 158,590 candidates for Part II.
