The government is promoting investment opportunities under public-private partnership model in the country

The Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF) will hold an investment forum today (Thursday) for the national and international business community to present investment opportunities in the health and education sectors.


According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the government is promoting investment opportunities under public-private partnership model in the country and is committed to developing modern health and educational infrastructure.

In the health sector, IPDF is working on the development of National Institute of Dentistry and Centre for Liver Diseases and Organ Transplant at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences through public-private partnership, it said.

The statement also said that in order to provide accommodation facilities to students at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, IPDF was also working on a hostel development project. A large number of national and international investors have shown interest in these projects and are expected to participate in the forum.
