Raising awareness: ‘Adopting safety measures can make society safe’

Rescue 1122 organises seminar on World Safety and Health Day to create awareness.

MULTAN: Rescue 1122 organised a seminar on World Safety and Health Day to create awareness among citizens about implementation on safety rules for a safe society.

Led by District Emergency Officer Dr Kaleemullah, the seminar was held at the conference room of Rescue Central Station on Friday. The event was attended by rescuers, officials from health department, students and civil society.

Dr Kaleemullah said, “It is the responsibility of every person to adopt safety measures regarding his work. There is negligence behind every accident that occurs in the world.”

He added, “We can make our society safe if every person recognises his responsibility about safety and implementing safety rules.”

He urged that necessary safety subject should be included in the education curriculum as per international standards.

On the occasion, Dr Burhan Pasha highlighted the importance of safety and urged the people to adopt safety measures as it was vital for every human being.
