Two constables injured in search operation

JAMRUD: At least two constables were injured after a police convoy came under attack in the village Katrani, D I Khan.

The police convoy was attacked by Tehreek-e-Taliban after it was returning from a search operation on Tuesday.

Both the injured constables were shifted to a local hospital and their condition was said to stable and out of danger.

The police also recovered explosives, two 9mm pistols, and hand grenades during the operation.

The DPO, in a press conference, confirmed that one of the TTP top commanders fled the site during the operation after hurling hand grenades at the police squads.

Police and security forces threw a cordon around the area after the operation.
