In response to allegations of bribery levelled by Imran Khan on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz dubbed the PTI chief a 'liar' in a tweet circulated on Tuesday.

The tweet, that has been retweeted over 800 times and liked over 2000 times, surfaced after Imran Khan levelled allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, claiming that PM Nawaz had offered to pay up to Rs10 billion for Imran to back down from the Panamagate case, which the PTI chief claimed he had refused.

While addressing participants at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Peshawar, Imran claimed that since the PML-N government could offer him such a huge amount then one could only imagine what they would be willing to offer investigation organisations probing the Panamagate case.

“We will not stop pursuing the Panamagate case until the prime minister resigns,” he said.

He said the apex court’s decision has raised awareness among the people who supported Nawaz in the past as they now understand his reality.
