Quality learning: Punjab remains committed to education

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said the government would consult internationally acclaimed experts to enhance the quality of education and ensure it meets the requirements of the international job market.

The education minister issued this statement when addressing a meeting at the Directorate of Staff Development on Tuesday. The minister said a national moot has been was planned on September 9 in Lahore, while an international educational conference will be held on November 9.

National and international educational experts will attend these conferences and give suggestions to improve the school education system and devise a future roadmap. He said the government was committed to achieving 100% enrollment. “The government is working to implement the three-year Parho Punjab, Barho Punjab programme to ensure 100% enrollment by 2018,” he said.
