Artificial ‘lake’ in Hunza (II)

KARACHI: The media is covering it in great detail and almost on a daily basis politicians of all shades and stripes are visiting the site of the artificial lake.

Of course, during their time there is seems like they are more interested in having their pictures taken rather than in anything else. And how do they visit? In helicopters and guess who pays for this — us, the taxpayers. May I suggest that they dispense with their visits and allow the engineers and other teams on the site to construct whatever is needed to prevent what will clearly heading towards a major catastrophe — should the lake burst its banks.
