LAHORE: Previous governments looted national resources and committed criminal negligence in important projects of the country and the nation is still facing their consequences, said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif while speaking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers on Monday.

“Transparency and merit have remained the top priority during the four years of PML-N government,” he said, adding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not only saved resources of billions of rupees in projects but also completed them in record periods of time.
