Monetary dispute: Two men shot dead in Missri Shah

LAHORE: Two men were shot dead while three more were injured in a shootout between two groups in Missri Shah late Sunday night. Police said the parties were arguing over some monetary dispute when after a heated exchange of words, men from both sides pulled out weapons.

The victims were shifted to Mayo Hospital, where Ahsan from one party and his rival Riaz succumbed to their injuries.  The other victims were identified as Shehroz and Hassan. Police have both of them in custody at the hospital. In Liaquatabad, a man shot dead his uncle and injured his brother over a family dispute late Sunday night.

The suspect identified as Faisal opened fire when the family had sat to settle a dispute.  The victim Razzaq Ali, his brother Babar and sister Tahira had disagreements over the distribution of property and along with their nephew Tanveer were talking to settle the dispute.
