A wedding was reportedly called off in Uttar Pradesh, after the bride and the groom's family hurled cutlery at each other because someone sought a second rasgulla. The incident took place in Kurmapur village, about 70 km from Lucknow, reports DNA.

The incident followed an intense argument between the groom's cousin and a family member of the bride because the groom's cousin had helped himself to two rasgullas, instead of one.
Soon enough, the argument swelled into a brawl with the groom's cousin having beaten up the bride's father. The families then began flinging plates and spoons at each other and the whole marquee came crashing down.

Although village elders and the police were later called to resolve the issue, the bride refused to marry. The bride’s father has registered a complaint at the Achalganj police station.
Talk about a sticky situation.
