ISLAMABAD: The government had devised a PC-II of a plan to extend the Polyclinic Hospital in the capital.

This was stated by Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry in a written reply to the Senate on Friday. He said that the PC-II worth Rs47.896 million had been prepared and would be presented at the next meeting of the Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP).

While replying to a question, the minister said that they had allocated Rs100 million for the project during the ongoing fiscal year. However, they had to surrender the money owing to the rejection of the PC-II.

Dr Chaudhry further said that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had not yet allotted any commercial plot to foreigners from 2014 to 2016.

Giving details of the development work in the capital, he said that there were 15 underpasses and four flyovers which had been built by the CDA. He added that these flyovers and underpasses were operational and in satisfactory condition.
