A judge directed the capital city police officer (CCPO) on Saturday to register a case against the Ghalib Market SHO.
Judge Tariq Masood Bhatti issued the directive in a case filed by Mustansar Zafar, who submitted that he had leased a Suzuki van. He said when some recovery officers snatched his van he complained to Ghalib Market police but the SHO turned a deaf ear to his request. The court then had ordered the SHO to register a case but the SHO did not obey the court orders.
On Saturday, the court directed the CCPO to register a case against Ghalib Market SHO under Section 155-C of Police Order 2002 and report compliance on April 4.
