Home minister accused of kidnapping Hindu leader

Cabinet member accuses home minister of being involved in the kidnapping of an 83-year old Hindu spiritual leader.

QUETTA:

A Balochistan cabinet member accused the provincial home minister of being involved in the kidnapping of an 83-year old Hindu spiritual leader.

Agha Irfan Karim, a minister without portfolio from the Pakistan Peoples Party, claimed that the men allegedly involved in kidnapping Maharaj Lachmi Chand Garji, a Hindu spiritual leader, were seen at the office of the Home Minister Mir Zafrullah Khan Zehri. Karim levelled the allegation against the home minister on the floor of the Balochistan Assembly.
