Shakeel Adilzada, the editor of Urdu language digest Subrang, was eulogised by speakers on the second and final day of a Literature Carnival at the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Wednesday. During a panel discussion to highlight Adilzada’s life and work, speakers paid tribute to his input to Urdu literature and the role the Subrang Digest played in promoting fiction and creative writing.
On request from some of the participants, Adilzada announced that he would try to revive the Subrang Digest on a quarterly basis.
