The hospital is not located in outer space that the Islamabad Police have been unable to trace it, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar remarked. He directed SSP Islamabad to submit a comprehensive report in connection with the illegal removal of kidneys from people in a month.
Illegal Kidney Trade: Two suspected organ traffickers held
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar sought the report while hearing a suo-moto case regarding organ trafficking in the country. During the course of proceedings, Chief Justice Nisar inquired from SSP Sajid Kayani about the hospital responsible for removing the kidney from a man, Muhammad Imran.
The SSP informed the court that thorough investigation had been carried out, but the hospital where the alleged incident took place has yet to be traced. On which the court expressed displeasure. APP
